Since its coming up frequently in the comments, just to make it clear: The new Kaichou clips would not refer to her as "Coco" or "Kaichou" in any way shape or form in thumbnails and titles, but only as her "other" name. I expect those do not know her other persona who click on the clip out of curiosity may be spoilt either way, but I don't intend to get people into clicking on "new coco" vids by using her old persona as clickbait.

If the respect to her being a whole "different persona" is maintained, it's all good

With what everyone else has said, I'll agree with the general "rule" of not directly associating old identity and new one. That said, I welcome your efforts.

As long as u don't refer her as her past persona and respect her privacy i think it's all your decision. Follow your heart man, just do what you love.

I thought maybe it’s better if you do it in a separate channel to follow the separated persona… but I know not much about the hardship of making and managing a new channel aside the contents that will be posted there. I guess making these clips on this channel would be then the realistic approach, but nobody would care this excuse if you ever get a trouble in any sort...

It would be kind of weird though to be all Hololive clips and that one person as the outlier.

Yes please! We like her personality, the anime avatar was just a fun gag. Plus I'm sure her other channel doesn't have that many clippers

honestly I've been looking for a clip channel that translates the other side stuff. Though I would very much prefer if you don't make too much reference with Coco if you do decide to translate. Personally I'd want to treat them as different identity

I appreciate the way you worded this post. And I agree with your pinned comment. As long as you aren't referring to her as Coco or Kaichou I feel like it should be alright. It will be slightly annoying that people in the comments of the clips won't do the same, but that's just the way some people are I guess.

Translations of Kaichou on-air would be appreciated. Even if mentioning the name "Coco" isn't taboo in Hololive, I think it's more appropriate to use her current alias for any translated clips moving forward.

I’m glad your continuing to support her. That being said I agree with another comment that maybe clips should be on another channel. Kaichou alt stuff might me jarring for some just because it’s an IRL person(you know how vtuber/anime fans are 2D>3D). Unless “Coco” is using her vtuber model and not facecam, then I think it’s fine because then it’s just another vtuber clip on your channel technically.

Maybe it would be safer to make a new channel? Some people might not read this post but seeing someone who mix vtuber and non-vtuber in their video list and think "hey this is okay to do" and end up doing the same to other members. People these days often do not read until it's too late and spread like a wildfire so... just to be safe.

If there are entertaining clips from her streams, sure. Also make sure to not call her as "Coco". While it is fairly obvious they are the same person, I think it is important to respect the individual's choice to not address her other persona.

I mean it’s an open secret even she doesn’t mind much. Just keep the identities separate and I think that would be good.

IF you're going to do that then might has well make a new channel for it, I say. If you do it as this channel, I think you're bound to draw potential ire from various possible groups, including COVER itself. How it going to look, I mean conveniently all of your clips are Hololive vtuber except for this one IRL person. Mighty SUS obviously.

i love how most of the community already found her old account she used to stream on.

Are the streams going to be on YouTube or Mildom? Personally, if the streams are from YouTube then clips like the usual are welcome, as long as the account separation is respected, but I'm not so sure if the sources are from Mildom; I'm sure the usage of a different platform to stream has a reason behind it.

They are two different "identities" so I don't see why there would be a problem

A question for my subs - as you guys know, I'm a huge Coco fan, and have been doing her clips for a long time. Despite her graduation, she has said on a Mildom stream (about a week before her graduation) that while initially she would be disappearing and taking time for herself, she does intend to get back to regular streaming and having fun.
Outing a Vtuber is generally considered NG, but I have the feeling everyone already knows who Coco Kaichou is and where to find her. I personally, as a fan, will still be following her new streams, the question is, would you like me to translate those new streams and be kept updated on what she's been up to, when she gets back to streaming?
