It has been BUSY in the shop ever since we got back from Race Week with the 55... which is why the Quest for the Sixes episodes have been delayed. Thank you guys for sticking out with me, because this newest build was not anticipated and I could not foresee the delays it would cause to the 55.
BUT! With that said, here is a sneak peak of what we have been working on, shown on the @peakauto State of the Build Series hosted by Emily Reeves! Thanks Peak for letting me be a part of this series again! Dodge dropped off a 2019 Hellcat Challenger, with only 3 rules (stock block, stock blower case, stock appearing body) along with $10k ($10k is not the "budget" they restricted with) and told us to make the fastest drag car possible in a matter of about 5 weeks. DT and I got to planning and then straight to work, and the car has turned out so good!
We will be racing it at MotorTrend's Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge on August 14 in Pontiac, MI. on Woodward Ave. which is coming up soon! We will be racing against 3 other YouTube builders, Tavarish, Westen Champlin, and Throtl along with Eric Malone from Fastest Cars in the Dirty South. A small build series will be coming out on the car soon (after I get the last 55 build video out, which is hopefully today if time allows 🤞🏼).
