I'm 57 years old and I adore your music. I've never been hung up on whether gospel in trying to reach the younger generation is becoming too base, too street. To me it's all about if the music is making your spirit more in touch with God. Yes, in my mind that touches that part of you where the celebration of life in all it forms, the joy and the pain, is music from a blessed place. Gospel or secular. How many times have I been moved by music from James Brown, The Rolling Stones and The Gap Band to Mahalia Jackson, Smoky Norfolk and Tye Tribbett. I guess what I'm trying to say is if it truly touches some part of me, surely God laid a finger on it and that's good enough for me!
