Fink

Aaaaahhhh - IIUII album release day - a beautiful thing - today marks a landmark for Fink it is the day we join the pantheon of “best of” bands 😉 only ours has a kinda twist as we don't really have a raft of hit singles to bundle together!! - we re-recorded the “best of” from the first ten years of Fink - fan faves, live faves, band faves - before lockdown and right after I had returned the USA tour… They’re not better - they’re just different y’know (oh - and we also wrote a book that kinda accompanies the record out mid September).

“It Isn’t Until It Is” has been a true labour of love and is available in various labour of love formats - vinyl, cd, stream, DL, book, audiobook and even a steady flow of podcasts we’ll be rolling out over the next few months where we natter about the evolution and creation myth of a struggling UK indie band chapter by chapter…

But for now - to kinda help introduce the whole concept of re-recording with a bunch of life experience under our belts - is the IIUII version of “Walking In The Sun”.

I really like The Fink. I listen to them and clean house and really enjoy their music! Thank You Fink❣️

I think the pinnacle of Fink's work was the very first Fresh Produce album. Everything after that is too trite, clichéd and uninteresting. It's a pity that Fink stopped writing music in such a great non-pop genre.
