@SaveDataTeam

I'm curious to see where this one will go! The "darkest Zelda" vs. the "cutest art-style."

Nothing beats a good masquerade with excellent soundtrack

Majora's Mask represents a driving hope during dark times. Every npc you help has their own heartlifting story. The fact that the makers only had a year to make it really speaks volumes about the Zelda team at Nintendo.

Man I can’t even compare them, the vibe is so different. I love the art style of WW so much, it’s so bright and fresh and visually appealing. But I love the content and mind-bending nature of MM. So I gotta go with MM on this one, much as I adore WW.

As stressful as creating MM was for Aonuma, it's clear evidence that when under pressure artists sometimes do their best work. The scale, depth, and boldness for only one year of development is astounding. It's incredible there aren't more bugs.

“Majora’s Mask” is practically the polar opposite of “Wind Waker”

I feel like Wind Waker’s strong points are it’s emotiveness, feeling of open adventure, combat and Ganondorf. But Majora’s I feel like has much better dungeons, better music, NPCs that affect the world more, emotional weight, and weapons/masks.

Wind water is so bright and sweet. Everything is so colorful and it feels like a little kids dream. It still has dark elements, scary moments, and the plot feels incredibly important, but is still retains it's childlike wonder

The melanchotic mood of majoras mask is special, the fact that you become a character and finish other peoples legacy leads to some deep personal reflections.

While I really love both of these games, I wanna give it to Wind Waker. The biggest reason is because I don’t have to worry about the time limit that MM had, but also because the ending hit me a little harder than MM. link sailing off to make a new beginning, leaving behind his old home. It almost left me in tears

I love Wind Waker, it's the game that introduced me to the franchise and changed my life by doing so. Majora's Mask however is my favourite videogame of all time. MMs subtle Story telling, the atmosphere, the mask mechanics....tbh, I can't really tell why I love it. There are enough Videos on YT explaining why MM is great, go and watch them, I'm off to...I don't know, racing some gorons or anything now, bye!

Wind Waker is the perfect zelda game. Amazing exploration. Great combat. Beautiful art style (even 15 years later). Fun and interesting story. I think WW is my favorite game of all time.

Majora's Mask is not only my favorite Zelda game but my favorite game of all time. The way it deals with some heavy topics without romanticizing nor watering them down and how it plays with it's atmosphere has always fascinated me. I hope there were more instances in which nintendo tried this approach.

Majora's mask. The atmosphere the soundtrack, the overworld, everything is dark and reminds you that there is an apocalypse in 3 days. You really get to know all the npcs, they feel so alive with their problems fears and concerns. You have to plan and manage who you can save in the 3 day cycle and what quests you have to neglect. Your actions really change the following games, there are consequences and that's something other zelda games don't have. And the whole game is tackeling difficult topics like death, desperation, depression, fear, anger, seperation of family, friends and loved ones. I also really love the changing forms into different races using the masks it's an amazing concept I wish they would use this again for other Zelda games

I like the atmosphere, the music, and the transformations in Majora’s Mask the most, but Wind Waker is great too

@drakebookman2771

It is relatable in the sense that I live the same thing over and over again and have no control of my outcomes

Majoras mask has the best music in the series and the story and side quests are great

Majora's Mask has a really engaging story that goes beyond just beating the bad guys. The amount of side quests the game has is insane and it's one of those games that really reward you for beating it 100% (which is awesome for completionists like me). It really motivates you to talk to NPCs and just keep on doing stuff in the game.

MMs presentation and dark themes reallly speak to me. Hauntingly beautiful. Considering they made that with the time they had... Incredible.

Even though Wind Waker was the first Zelda game I had ever seen, I like MM more because it is the second Zelda game I have ever played. Young Link is my favorite of all time, and I love the story of MM. I'm actually playing it for my first time right now, and every time I get farther in the game, I get said because I don't want it to end! MM is the perfect masterpiece sequel to a masterpiece game. ❤💗
