This is what motivates the modern "treasure hunter" as most finds don't amount to much. What we actual seek is the expression of a character trait invaluable to past societies however no longer relevant in modern times. That is, every society had its "treasure hunters” or those skilled in being able to find rare items of value. (metal ores, medicinal mushrooms, or useful minerals) These rare items were so beneficial to early societies that the neural wiring inherent to the skill became a necessary gene that was passed on through the ages. This idea also applies to any other hobbies or interest. In essence, doing what you feel passionately about is ultimately becoming who you are on a very fundamental level. That is what this video is really about.
