FlightChops

Honoured to have the plane we just built, displayed show center at EAA AirVenture!
This Van's Aircraft represents just how far experimental aviation has come, and I'm proud to be a part of telling that story.
Come see it at the Garmin booth if you're here!
I will be there for several planned events, but also likely living there when able to baby-sit... my baby :)
The rest of the schedule is below - hope to meet you if you're at the show!

Sweet looking build. Agree about how far home kit building has progressed. I just think of Guil and Mary flying to South America and southwest Mexico from Wisconsin in their Van’s kit. Epic. Congrats again Flight Chops and your team.

I can’t imagine the thrill of building a plane and then flying it! Congrats!

Really enjoyed watching your build as I just purchased mine fully built. Either way they are the best birds to fly for aeros, touring and comfort. Consider putting in a Hald raven inverted flight system. I am doing one now as you get a fair bit of oil out of the breather. Have fun and keep your chops shaved! Best regards from Australian 🥂

You need to leave it just like that. No paint.
