Wow! The writers of A Quiet Place recently shared their logline drafts.

Option 1 for sure. It’s a lot more concise and well put together than the other two in my opinion. That’s cool that they released that though.

My logline drafts end up much the same Way. First ones are short, later ones are word-heavy cause I’m overthinking the details. I like how they admit there are some elements they’re meaning to leave out to keep the twists.

They’re exactly the same, only worded differently. A rural family will be killed by the creatures if they make a sound but they must find a way to communicate in order to survive = option 1,2 and 3

2 and 3 are literally exactly the same, just worded differently.

Is a "Logline" the little synopsis that appears everywhere, like from Steaming Service blurbs to articles to press releases and etc.? I've never heard the term used, and idk what channel this is, it just appeared on my feed lol. I'm a "cinephile" (ugh😫) though so I know a good amount about the "process", but definitely not enough about it. Not yet anyway... Also still haven't seen AQP1 or 2. Trailer seemed to give away the entire Plot, and also sucked all the potential tension out of it by showing the terrible looking CGI aliens. Two's trailer is a lot better, although it still shows too much bc that opening "before the apocalypse" scene is so GOOD, and they basically ruined it by showing it in YouTube ads every 3 minutes. Rant off, sorry
