I would imagine your channel gets a disproportionate amount of community translations and they are also likely of better quality than average.

HoH viewer, here. I also really appreciate community-based subtitles. Thanks for the work!

I thought you did a pretty good job. I was wondering, can you do an episode on the history of the Welsh language and on its extinct cousin Cumbric?

For those asking how to add subtitles: In the video, click on the Settings wheel in the lower right corner. Choose Subtitles -> Add Subtitles. This should take you to YouTube's "Creator Studio" page. Choose a language, and go ahead. The interface is quite intuitive from then on.

I just watched your video on mongolian languages and the great I wanted to tell you something you might find interesting. Here in germany and most of europe, he is not known as ghengis kahn but as dschinghis kann. Until I watched your video I even thought they are 2 different people . In it's pronounciation it is quite close to how you pronounce it in mogolian. As for proto mongolian, have you checked hunnic for how related it is ?

Have you looked into sign languages? ASL, BSL etc, do they have inflections, how does grammar differ from spoken languages, what universals there are among sign languages, how they arose, relationships between them...

Just wondering if you could do a video on the Polynesian languages including Maori?

You should do a video about Bulgarian, specifically its verbal system. It has 3 aspects and many tenses, some of which I'm pretty sure were originally construtions of aspect, which I don't follow. I'm pretty sure all of this is construed with evidentiality too. No wonder Bulgarian lost all noun declensions.

Joshua, I'd love to connect about a Genghis Khan exhibition we are hosting in Kansas City. Your video about Mongolian languages might really interest our audiences. How can we discuss?

Launched a video today, and noticed many past community translations that are "in review". I am reviewing them and accepting them now! You deserve much thanks if you contributed subtitles, and my apologies for the delay.
