The Caffeinated Classroom

Good morning friends! This past week came with quite a few curve balls sent my way, so I wasn't able to post a vlog...

I will make up for it, though! Tomorrow I will film my Mock Trial vlog and get it posted as fast as I can!

I also want to do an end-of-year Q&A video in the next week - DROP YOUR QUESTIONS BELOW!!!

Thank you!!! :)

@KimHeb.

Good Morning! I love your channel! Here are a few things I wonder about: 1. Besides coffee, what do you eat to keep you going through the day? 2. What are your thoughts on end of year parties? 3. How do you work with parents who demand grade changes for students?

How do you keep your students interested and involved? On days/weeks where you feel less motivated, how do you pick yourself back up again?

Hi! I’ve been watching your classroom setup videos from the beginning of the year. I’ve noticed a few changes you’ve made and would love to hear what worked, what didn’t, why you changed the things you changed, ideas for next year, etc.

Pros and cons of working in public vs private? Also, have you ever had problems with your administration or colleagues in terms of support or disciplining students?

One question I have is how you chose your grade level and knew it was the right fit for you. I am currently studying to be a teacher and have to declare my grade level by next fall. I am thinking I want to do high school science but I’m not 100% sure

What was the toughest part of returning to teaching Language Arts? I spent three years on special assignment and am returning to the classroom in the fall.

Have you ever co-taught with a special education teacher? What is some advice for communication between general and special education? (I will be a first year special education teacher next year!)
