Broly has potential to be stronger than Jiren but as of the DBS movie, he still isn't. Goku did say that Broly "might" be stronger than Beerus, but remember that Jiren IS already stronger than his own universe's God of Destruction and at full power was able to hang with MUI Goku who is confirmed to be stronger than Beerus since he hasn't mastered UI himself. Broly at the most is at a level between SSJBE/SSJB KKx20 and UI Omen. So basically 9 times out of 10 he'd lose to Jiren. Gogeta would give Jiren a much better fight since he dominated Broly without breaking a sweat but would still lose.

Broly, his first fight he's able to handle super Saiyan, red and blue Goku and Vegeta in short period of time.

Jiren will win. Broly strong but he doesn't know how to control his self. Just like Kale. Jiren is a Mastered self controlled and experience destroyer candidate opponent and he will win by an edge. Until Broly figure him self out and matured, Jiren stands victorious until otherwise.

At his present state no ! Broly would not win. But if he goes in the hyperbolic time chamber with goku and Vegeta. He would have gotten significantly stronger than jiren in just his first training session. And if he ever achieved ssgb he’d be the strongest mortal in the DBS series.

Jiren would of destroyed Broly only because he had more battle experience. Broly after fighting Gojeta would give Jiren a run for his money. Goku and Vegeta never fused in the tournament so MUI was its replacement. Jiren sinks to a low and becomes doubt full of himself when he's out match in power, which happened twice in the tournament, once with MUI Goku and again with Freezer and 17. Broly on the other hand, the more he gets hurt the more angry he gets and his power increases. That's why Gojeta went SS to fight SS Broly instead of base form which forced Broly to become a SS2. Gojeta wasted no time going blue which was the deciding factor. Broly was a SS2 while still in the great ape mind state which imo was the same level of power as Jiren in the tournament. If Gojeta or Vegeto would of fought Jiren he would of been finished. Imagine Broly's power level after his fight with Gojeta once he heals and get a zenkai boost 🤔... Jiren better be training his ass off in U11😁.

Broli sucks. Movie 8 was his best showing. In this movie he wouldn't be able to compete with Cumber a character based off broli himself. Jiren's more powerful and would crush broli.
