I am in Yosemite with limited cell service and am not sure of my next move. I have two options I am contemplating... 1) Drive way out of my way and head west to above San Francisco and drive the coast to Oregon (which will add a lot of fuel costs) but I would see the coast and the Redwood Forest, amongst other things. This would leave less time for eastern OR and Idaho 2) Drive east through Yosemite and take 395 north to Oregon. I would go through the Lake Tahoe area and be able to spend more time in eastern OR and Idaho
In either case I plan on going to Crater Lakes, OR
Also, I have to be near Rapid City, SD in 4 weeks, so that is the time I have between here and there. I plan on staying in Yosemite 1-2 more days.
