It has to be a continuation of the original trilogy in one way or another. That's clearly Liara discovering a piece of Shepard's armor. Otherwise, it would just be a cheap trick on Bioware's behalf to build hype based on false pretenses.

I have no faith in Bioware at this point. I very much doubt the next installment will be much better than Andromeda.

Everyone was liquified and turned into a Reaper. Indoctrinated Shepard died in the final assault. The only surviving people are in Andromeda. This is the only ending that isnt stupid and makes the whole experience so grim that its actually awesome, and I hope they dont ruin it all by making sequels to ME3. I would hope a new hero in a different era, for example in the First Contact war
