Hey Julian! I've just discovered your videos and I'm grateful for that. Great job! My iD22 gave up recently. You must have heard/read about the countless iD22's dying after 3-4 years due to some subpar capacitors. Have you seen the inside of an iD14 mkii? Do you think it might also be prone to similar problems? They might be made in the same factory.

Hey Julian, love the content. I’ve a question / request for a vid - does the quality / power of the phantom 48v make a difference to audio quality or gain from a given microphone ? I see that 48v injectors, such as the radial engineering stage bug, are available which could be used instead of an audio interfaces phantom power. Thanks, Kevin.
