Do you think the Phantom series is really dead? 😱

@TomsTechTime

Thank you for all your opinions. Some say they think it's dead, others guess it's being held back because of the success of the Mavic 2 Pro. I personally hope that DJI is going to unveil another Phantom soon - and that this gorgeous series of drones (my first ever "real" drone was a Phantom) is not dead yet.

@51Drones

Perhaps. But the replacement series will be epic. 😁

The M2P is selling too well, so they're just delaing the P5. But still the P4P has a better picture quality over the M2P. The day the P5 comes out sales on the M2P will do a drop. And DJI knows that. Plus everyone deserving the "P" in these products are still considering the M2P a toy and are saving money for the next real drone (esp. with a mechanical shutter). When autum comes things will get hot again. And as soon as the christmas sales are starting we will see the P5. #my2cents

i think the Mavic Pro 2 is selling so well that they decided to hold out for a while longer

Have you seen the amount of tec they have in the tiny mavic 2? Imagine what they could fit into a new phantom.

Yes Tom, I suppose the noisy dinosaur is stone dead. However, I like to see that the 1" camera with its associated firmware is used on Mavic 2 Pro instead of the so-called "Hasselblad" camera since I feel it is a lot better.

@ckninja

Idk, but with that new smart controller for the m2p I'll be going with that in a few months

Yes

@ibragimov2

Deym why? It's the most versatile consumer grade drone they've ever produced, it can output live feed from the remote controller itself. I don't think it is dud

@conradsmith2811

Absolutely not!

@Quake210

Nope. I'm sure the Phantom 5 will blur the lines between the Phantom series and the Inspire series, and we'll be paying up to 2K USD for the privilege.

@vagishsivaramakrishnan4885

The phantom series is pretty near dead honestly, the mavics fill in for regular users and the Inspire is the professional line up, maybe theres room for another phantom, but after that, probably not.
