Perfect! I was gifted a cacao plant. Since new leaves came, sobrang daming insects nya. My mom told mi na mahirap daw talaga ang cacao kasi you really need to take extra care of it. Buti na lang you reminded me of this homemade remedy. Salamat, kuya!

Bakit po kaya po nasisira ang dahon ng talong sb nasosobrahan dw po sa insecticide pero tama namn po ang application 1-2 tmes lang po per week at morning & late in the afternoon. Ask lng po anu papo kaya reason at ganun po salamat po & more power Gbu po 😊

Tanong: Bakit may langgam sa halaman at paano sila mapaalis?
Sagot: Alisin po muna mga sucking insects tulad ng aphids whiteflies thrips dahil pag wala na mga yan ay wala narin mga langgam. My symbiotic relation po yan sila kung bakit may langgam ay dahil yong ipot ng sucking insects kung tawagin ay honeydew ay pagkain nila in return of service ay pinoprotektahan ng langgam yong sucking insects against predators nila at para tuloy2x rin pagkain nila. Pwede gumamit ng insecticides para mapatay mga sucking insects. If you prefer homemade treatments try mo ang dishwashing liquid and vegetable oil. Just mix 1teaspoon each to 1L of water then shake it first before you spray. Time of application will be at 4-6PM only and by tomorrow morning before sunrise, spray the plants with pure water in order to rinse out the dishwashing liquid and oil to avoid sunburn of leaves once the plant hit by direct sun. Just Continue the application until the sucking insects are totally gone. Using homemade treatments will takes time before ma control ang pest kaya kailangan lng maging masipag while chemical insecticides will need 1-2 application only and the plants will become insect pest free in instant. BTW, organic insecticides and fungicides are now also commercially available 🙂.
