All Things DnD

I know we haven't heard a lot from the man who helped us meet the Gray Necromancer but a small update.

Thanks a lot for showering him with the love he deserves, and yes, we might have something new coming from him soon, stay tuned ;)

@triedtherest

ALL of his stories are great, but Astoshan remains my favourite.

Astoshan’s story plays in my head often and is probably my favorite D&D story ever. I listen to at least once a month and always recommend it to friends

The Grey Necromancer is a true rolemodel for true neutral necromancers.

LaVulpe can post ANY story and I'd love it aslong as he wrote it, doesn't have to be DND.

now i wanna hear some LARP stories. imagine how much more intense those would be,since you're actually DOING things rather than just describing them.

I’ve used two lawful neutral necromancers as NPCs. They’re really fun. One was a dwarf expelled from his clan- he was just recycling resources efficiently! The other, a Tiefling girl who fled from her father when he brought back her mother as a Wight. Technically she was an abjurer, but she was comfortable around the undead, having grown up with them all her life, and wasn’t adverse to creating them herself. Very interesting character for my son’s lawful good fighter to play with. She first met him in the woods, riding up on a skeletal horse, and they camped together for mutual protection. They did an admirable job fighting off kobolds. Hey, level one party. It was fun.

I read that as gay necromancer... I’m like “every one should be comfortable in who they are, even necromancers. Good for him.”

Actually The Grey Necromancer inspired me ads well. I play High-elf Wizard whose ex-party died and he seeks a way to bring them back any possible way

I think if this is the one from the episode on the Chaotic Neutral murder hobo group I would fan girl out too. That is my favorite episode followed by the 3 part monk of pain.
