A sad day. Also there’s just something amazing about you bringing an old television back to life and it picking up an actual station on its own.

RIP analog television. Cathode ray dude has a great video of him driving around the northeast chasing remaining analog stations.

Well Shango that sucks love how you tune the older CRT's to that channel. Love your videos I've learned a lot from them and you're very good at what you do. Thanks for the entertainment. Scott

Down here in Oz, we still have plenty of AM radio Txers, but Analogue TV is gone........I have installed a low power TV TX here to keep the "Feel" right with the old TV stuff........the thing I miss the most is nearly all the SW stations are gone......

On the RadioDiscussions board people are saying they're still hearing Guadalupe Radio on 87.7 FM. So maybe they killed the video carrier but are still transmitting audio?

You should run down to mexico, buy up all the equipment and haul it to your backyard and set it up for a better signal.

You mean the viewership from YouTube vintage TV repair rebroadcast wasn’t enough to keep them on air? Shocking.

That's too bad ! :( like you mentionned in a previous video, it really was a good way to test the tuner's sensitivity / IF strips. I hope you had a way to measure the signal strenght you were at, so you can replicate it / adjust the VG's signal attenuator. Best of luck !

Ah too bad the FCC got around to killing those stations off. Unfortunately we haven't had low power stations for a long time in Australia

Well, time to set up a blonder tongue modulator to make your own VHF TV station, i guess, that's what I do

They never should have gotten rid of analog TV broadcasting. Digital sucks when you don't have good signal. ATSC 3.0 is supposed to be better than what we currently have signal wise, but it requires a new TV or box to use it. I believe it also requires a internet connection, which is stupid if true.
