Complete computer set up for audio. Where to install software and how to organize it. Especially plugins and how reaper sees them. Not enough ground up comprehensive videos on this topic. Love the channel.

I love your videos so much they’re so helpful. Just wanted to say thanks:D

@Xav1ez

Love your videos but haven't watched them all yet, so if my suggestion has been done already just ignore. As I'm a (recently started) composer working mainly with virtual instruments and midi, I'd love more videos on great add-ons and features related to working with midi and the piano roll. Things like scripts for CC editing and such.

Maybe mixing/mastering in other genres? In depth exploration of stock plug-ins? Really, whatever you want. You're content is great; very informative and excellently paced. Keep up the awesome work.

Recording on a budget sort of thing would be nice. For example, getting the best sound out of your computers sound card, using a usb mic, and plug ins that you might've encountered that work well?

First of all thank you for all what you have done till now, thank you so much because we need guidance like that. Just a suggestion. Although there’s a manual for deeply understanding Reaper, mostly people in general do not have time. It will be very nice of you if you could invest some time to make a series of video tutorials as a playlist for all the stock plug-ins in Reaper. There are so many, they are there, but no clue how to use many of them and why should we. Thank you very much for your kind effort.

@ReapertvUk

Wow! So many awesome ideas... I'll be noting these down and seeing what can be done for you. There are definitely going to be a series of 'basics' videos that cover the type of gear needed to start your home studio, how to record various instruments, microphone info (great mics that don't cost the earth) as well as more tips and tricks on getting more out of Reaper (as well as other software like EZDrummer, Superior Drummer, free software/VSTs, etc). But please, keep the ideas coming - they are invaluable and it's great getting you all to help shape the future of ReaperTV. Thank you all so far 😃

@NikosLoveBahumes

Not sure if you have covered it but I would really like to learn how to mix vocals in particular. What VST's should I use, how many layers of vocals should I use, some basic eq and compression and stuff like that would be really helpful

A thorough drum editing video would help, how to route and print external gear, a breakdown of all sws capabilities...more coming

@Xav1ez

Here's a specific topic that I just spent a couple of hours googling to find a solution for: How to set a negative delay on a midi track to combat baked in delay in sample start on orchestral (or any really) libraries, without having to resort to moving notes off the grid making it a mess. Other DAWs usually let you set a midi offset per track, but with Reaper I found that you have to use an audio plugin (JS: Time Adjustment Delay for instance) AFTER the VST to accomplish the same.

@TheGregbueno

& for those asking ab basic use of reaper, on the reaper website there are a ton of videos on how to do anything from setting up a track, to changing ur theme, to creating shortcuts. Hope that helps!

@geoffjesterpemberton

One specific thing I've been curious about (though I'm not sure if it deserves its own video) is precisely how you got the master track on the mixer to occupy the whole left border of the screen. I've never been able to do it despite trying several things.
