Thoughts on WandaVision?

She literally enslaved thousands of people but is treated like the hero

I absolutely despised Hayward just because he became a huge ass out of pretty much nowhere when apparently Rambeau and him are so close. Agatha Harkness was so cool with her ideaology but they didn't want to leave an ounce of doubt on whether she was bad or not so they just made her try to trick Wanda. Build-up was fantastic, the tone shift for the action was incredibly jarring. The biggest light was anything to do with Vision.

"Hey Lady who I accidentally gave superpowers to, I'm sorry I trapped this entire town inside a constant, painful nightmare including children whose parents I kept them apart from for weeks, maybe months." "It's ok, I personally forgive you." "Sweet, let me just put this woman who aside from wanting power actually genuinely seemed to care about me not destroying the world back in the nightmare out of spite before peacing out without repercussion then."

Cool at the beginning, but went back to basic marvel formula of “bad guy boss fight” at the end, and there were no consequences for enslaving an entire town. It would have been interesting to see her become an avengers level threat

Finale just made it worse in my opinion. I was waiting for a good finale but it just broke it's own legs at the end.

I can agree with a lot of people here how it decreased in quality. It was fun seeing the illusion slowly unravel due to Wanda and SWORD's actions. It shows how terrible it is to try and avoid your grief, but seemed to focus on that to the point where everything else was getting neglected. The Mary Sue was obviously very difficult to put in for the writers. She never really joined into the story, sorta felt like that younger sibling you give the unconnected controller to in terms of influencing events. In the end though, it was sick getting to watch the disillusionment. And the vision on vision fight honestly ended in a fun way. Definitely not something to re-watch, but definitely a good choice on something to watch.

Episodes 1-3 were the best, it looked like we were going to get a new take on the Marvel Universe, but then it sorta became every other Marvel movie ever by the finale.

The show is a lot like Lost, first couple episodes were great and created a mysterious vibe when watching. It also felt like Lost by giving a disappointing ending.

I loved it up to the end. The fight with Agatha almost seemed rushed. For the most part, though, I loved it.

The ending felt way to flat for my liking, it went from a great show to just good

It’s great at the start, but eventually once everything gets explained it starts going downhill. We didn’t need a big bad at the end, SWORD being an antagonistic Force is literally pointless, there wasn’t a need for a big CGI fight at the end, but one thing I really enjoyed about the finale was Vision’s conversation with Vision. Honestly a highlight of the show for me, a robot trying to outsmart a robot with philosophy.

I feel like episodes 1-3 and 5 were more what I wanted from the show (seeing Wanda and Vision together and Vision starts to unravel the world Wanda has put together). The S.W.O.R.D. characters for the most part fell flat for me. Especially Hayward. I feel like a lot of WandaVision felt like “Wanda, and Vision’s kinda here too” towards the end.

Where’s the I’m too poor for Disney+ option?

I don't like how the one lady randomly got powers with no explanation. Like is it electromagnetic manipulation? Her powers just did one thing when it was convenient and changed. Also the random Agatha reveal felt so jarring and came out of nowhere.

First first few episodes were interesting, but one the outside world was introduced the entire show felt like it fell flat. The characters outside were very underdeveloped, and made choices that made no sense, and it felt like the writing was decreasing in quality.

It didn’t really have any lasting effects but it was entertaining especially from episode 1-5

to me it was completing Wanda's character background, she's now the scarlet witch. Even though she looked like the villan, she was grieving and she took over the town without knowing at first, I do feel they only brought in Agatha to make her the villan not wanda

everything after episode 4 just got worse... and worse... and then the ending was the dollop of shit on top of the mold sundae

Wow people actually think Wandavision was anywhere near "good".

I loved the first few episodes, they were mysterious and everything felt a bit strange, but by the end the closed-in tone of the show just vanished. The finale just felt too packed, Wanda is fighting Agatha, then the new vision comes along and then there is a huge battle between Agatha and Wanda. I know they had to have the new vision appear in the finale but I just felt like Agatha was just thrown away to fit some time for new vision.
