I've listened to Episodes 1, 2, 3 and 12 to 15 so far. There is no rhyme or reason to the order which I listen... I think I got ahead of myself when I heard Nelson Mandela's grandson was on and I couldn't wait to hear his stand for Palestine. I am Canadian born Lebanese, my parents immigrated to Canada in the late 50s and I've been back to Lebanon 3 times in my life and my two children have each been to Lebanon twice. I see the landscape of Palestine and it is very much like Lebanon which both are so beautiful. I just wish the Palestinian people can enjoy their land without this insane occupation! I have strong feelings about the Palestinian people and their struggle for freedom, rights, justice and peace. I feel that being of Lebanese decent we have very close ties to our Palestinian neighbours and my heart goes out to every single one struggling just to live in Gaza, West Bank and East Jerusalem. I mean after all we all eat hummous, tabouli, kafta, falafel, fattoush, etc! Haha! But seriously, I appreciate what you are doing and I am learning so much more than I have ever learned about this topic, thanks to the both of you. I just hope and pray that I will get to experience a free Palestine in my lifetime.

Alhumdolila. Thank you both for your vision, creativity and spectacular efforts. The content thus far has been world class. A treasure trove of immensely informative, educational, eye opening discourse, insights and analysis, with some outstanding guests such as Miko Peled and Nelson Mandela's grandson. This is a podcast worthy of a global audience. You've both channelled your gifts and talents towards such a worthy humanitarian project that is helping to alert people around the world to the extremely distressing reality that is the enduring suffering of the Palestinian people. It is an extremely terrifying prospect that the new Zionist supremacist leader in the apartheid Israeli regime is far more extremist than his predecessor. Any human who can proudly and openly boast about being a mass murderer should be locked up in a high security prison. It therefore speaks volumes about this military occupying regime when this reprehensible excuse of a man has been 'elected' by the colonising population. It feels like a race against time to prevent the next blood bath. We must all be active bystanders and conscientious citizens by spreading awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Palestine, slow genocide of the defenceless indigenous Palestinians and the brutal human rights abuses/daily state of degradation towards them in their own land. Evil, greed, lies, imperialism and oppression has to eventually fall just like all empires of the past. It is a matter of time. Eventually truth and light always prevail over darkness. Crucially, the test upon each decent human being is to make a contribution towards enjoining good and challenging wrongdoing to the best of our ability, within our limited circumstances and leave the results to Divine Providence. I pray this educational project flourishes to greater heights and touches hearts everywhere until everyone collectively holds this apartheid colonising regime to account by being ethical consumers and pressuring their governments to impose sanctions. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be, free God willing 🙏♥️🇵🇸🇵🇸

The Palestine Pod
Hi guys ! thanks to our new followers allowing us to reach +1000 subscribers, we are on "Community" now!
We started this podcast three months ago on a mission as a Palestinian refugee in exile and an anti-Zionist Jewish-American to do our part to support the decolonization of Palestine and full liberation of Palestinians on the ground and in exile. We never could have expected the love and support that y’all have shown us and the feeling is mutual. We are going to keep doing our part to amplify and uplift the voices of the freedom fighters on the ground and support the liberation of Palestinians and all oppressed and colonized peoples worldwide.
Education is power. Each one teach one is how we prevail especially when the discourse has been dominated by the colonizer’s narrative for 73 years. @thepalestinepod is certainly not the first and definitely won’t be the last platform to contribute to the growing shift in global consciousness in the discussion on Palestine but we will do everything in our power to harness the potential of this moment.
Palestinians have been expelled, dispossessed, uprooted, exiled, and murdered for 73 years by an apartheid regime that stole our land and keeps stealing our land. This is plain wrong so we know our cause is just. Our struggle is an anti-colonial, anti-racist struggle to live with rights on our land and participate in the governance that makes decisions impacting our lives. On the other hand, the settler colony’s cause is fundamentally unjust. There is no right to run a Jewish supremacist state (& certainly not on land where the majority of the natives pre expulsion were not Jewish). There is no right to “defend” yourself from the people you have expelled, oppressed and caged for 73 years. Rather, oppressed and colonized people under occupation have the right to resist the hostile takeover of their land by a military state, a nuclear power, and a recognized apartheid government.
Long live the resistance. Long live this liberation movement. Long live the Palestinian people, an example of dignity and humanity for the world despite generations of US-funded Zionist colonization and its brutal systems and structures of colonial violence. See you soon in a free Palestine.
