When they announced they were lifting the bans they did state at that time videos utilizing creative use of their content was ok. Just music is going to see a lot of push back in the future.

i have seen channels monetize nintendo osts and putting ads in the video but nothing happens to them, to my knowledge

Think about how this impacts the trust that Nintendo investors have in a company that lets copy right issues run amuck. It’s Nintendo’s property. If I came to your house and stole your kid’s artwork on the fridge how would you feel? You’d be like bro why did you steal that? You aren’t going to make any money with it and it had intrinsic value to my family! Sure more people will see it now but if I wanted that to happen then I would have posted pictures of it online.

Nintendo has begun blocking some videos in all countries (they just blocked 3D World and Mario Kart Wii, uploaded 5 and 7 years ago, respectively).
So if some videos seemingly start disappearing, you now know why, unfortunately. :/
I don't monetize any of these OST videos, but I guess Nintendo just wants them gone.
