The big question for our house build.. will I finish before PLFL after they've had like a... what... 3 or 4 year head start? 😂

@TrekEveryday

Big difference is every video you put out is 90% work and 10% talk PLFL is 90% talk 10% work... Keep on building!

@BrainStormAcres

We’ve watched them since the start. As long as you don’t get distracted by flying a plane 😁😂 you’ll be done years before them - even if you don’t live 15 MINUTES from a hardware stor

@LiberLady

They want to build it ALL themselves, to the point they are cutting off their noses in spite of their faces. "Wild Wonderful Off-Grid" YT channel is about 18 months in since they poured the pillars (there's is an A-frame stick build) and they're almost done!!!

we (3 of us) tore down a 1956 2700 sqft house and built a new one and was moved in within 18 months while working full time in Alaska mostly in the winter so im sure you can do it

@LeJimster

I'm not sure they will ever finish! Let's give them credit though. Timber frame milled from local trees. That task alone is harder than stick framing. Still... It bugs me they've had the walls up, moved in and still haven't run the electric through the entire house, and so they haven't finished the siding which is going to protect their house long term. If they wait much longer, it will start rotting and falling apart.

PLFL:pure living for life, i think

@gingin21jr

They will never finish, reason: they will lose their income. You both will live inside before this year ends. And you will have the inside completely done. Concentrate on the inside. And plant the trees once the structure is finnished.

Huge number of hours of labor go into most any house. I've seen them built in 6 months, but there are workers swarming all over the place getting in each others way day and night.

Really, who cares. You do yours your way. Let them them do it there way. We don’t see what goes on in their lives off camera!
