Interesting! I’m currently in the middle of making my own game using an old line of action figures in a gladiator setting. It only has basic stuff done like yours.

Could be interesting. I still haven't been able to get a group together, but I'm working stuff out.

I've been working in haste over my in person 3.5e campaign! If any of you are (or want to become) 3.5 players and live in Iowa, let me know!

Manuvers for all martials and stamina system is wonderful. (That is how 5e should have done martial classes) I have mixed feelings about combining strenght and constitution into one ability. I suggest making common maneuver and spell pools. Also make special set of maneuvers (for martials ) or spells (casters) for each class. A class can choose maneuvers (martial) / spells (caster) either from the common pool or from its special set. Also make sure there aren’t any two things with the same name do different effects. (There are 2 Hex spells at different levels which do different things for example.) I also suggest changing Animal Kin’s name to Shapeshifter, to make sure first classes the player encounters are easy ones (brute and champion). For a possible level system players could start with 3 maneuvers at lvl 1 (the training wheels). A lot of levels could just say learn an additional maneuver / spell.

I always think GURPS is an excellent starting point for homebrew systems.

I actually have done something similar before using a mixture of Mutants and Masterminds with 5E. I hope it works out!

Fascinating! I'm currently working on a "hacked 5e" game myself. It's a Pirate RPG that blends fantasy with a pseudo-historical take on the real world pirate age. Lots of naval combat. New and interesting character classes. Unique enemies from real world mythology, etc. It still needs some work, but it'll be ready for playtesting soon.

Puffin Forest
Hey Everyone! So, I've been taking quite a bit of time to work on a homebrew superhero game that's based on 5e (but not 5e compatible! I call it a 'hacked 5e') If you're curious to see what I've been working on, up sharing some of the files up at the site: puffinsite.wixsite.com/website which is a site I'm really only using to share these files. The game is still very VERY ROUGH, ugly, and MILES away from being in a playable state, particularly the enemies section is VERY sparse. But if you want to look it over, you're welcome to. Enjoy! If you do try to run it, be warned, there's probably going to be many rules questions that the rules don't have answers for. On the site there's: the base rules, pregens, blank character sheet, and some sample enemies.
