Hey dudeāthanks for communicating with all of us. It canāt have been easy, but it means a lot, so thanks for reaching out. Iām so so sorry to hear that youāve had a tough time of things and that people have been bad to you. Iām also glad to hear that youāve found a way to do things that will hopefully be less painful; I hope that you are able to find more joy with this new routine. On a more personal level, I want you to know that your work has meant and continues to mean so much for me. Itās what really got me in to ASMR in the first place, and you have inspired me to make a channel and start doing ASMR stuff myself. You have done so much good for me and probably many other people, and I hope that knowledge sticks with you when people are directing entitled anger towards you. As someone who really loves your work; thank you for taking care of yourself, and though you probably donāt need a stranger to say it, you come first. Whatever speed you need to go at, whatever you need to spend your time on, Iāll still be here. <3

Hope things work out, haven't really been at streams because I'm just not much of a stream person, and I've been more busy than in the past when I was more into streams

As someone who uploads every 3 months. I understand the struggle. I'm glad you found something to break away from the channel during your burnout. It's very rare to see people bounce back and fight through burnout when you can just leave and that's it. Shoutout to anyone else who's been here day 1 as well hehehehe :^) Thanks for being such a strong inspiration Vivi! Let the Iron Monger Snu Snu energy be with you!

I rarely have time to watch your Twitch streams, but regardless of how long I am able to tune in I always enjoy it so much. In regards to this channel, every occasional video is a blessing on my sub feed and I see them like gifts rather than a band-aid on an infrequent upload schedule. It confuses me that people will actually complain about not having a constant stream of videos from a Youtuber they seem to like. Personally, I don't subscribe and watch someone's videos only for what kind of content they provide; the only thing that sets creators apart these days is the creator themselves. Those who disregard that tend to forget that the creator behind the videos is human and have their own life to handle. If they only wanted the content and not the creator, then they have a hundred other channels to keep them entertained. I hope that those who follow you closely and genuinely enjoy your content (regardless of platform) are the ones who still understand this. Anyone harping on your Youtube channel is just impatient and doesn't appreciate the hard work that goes into your videos. I for one will definitely wait as long as it takes, because I know it will be worth it.

I've only seen a few streams so far but I do listen to your asmr content and I do watch other vtubers who speak incredibly highly of you. The streams I have tuned into have been a lot of fun to watch, and you look like you have a lot of fun doing them! Just know that the vast, vast majority of the vtuber and asmr communities have your back and fully support your endeavors, no matter what you do! You're a beacon for both communities as well, keep your chin up and keep doing what you wanna do :D

Really sorry to hear that vivi. Personally it makes my day whenever I see a new asmr video from you since I donāt usually have time to visit your streams. Hope your whole situation improves sooner than later

Those people who verbally abuse you for not uploading are idiots, and can be ignored. Stay healthy and pace yourself, you deserve it.

So sorry to hear that youāve had so many stressors to deal with Vivi. I hope you know that youāre incredibly appreciated and respected, and that youāll always have people who are happy to support you in whatever you want to do. I personally only came across your streams and roleplays recently, but you have quickly become one of my favorite vtubers and my absolute favorite asmr creator. Please take care of yourself and take as much time as you need to feel better. Youāve done so much for so many people, and we care about you and want you to be ok.

Hey, long time no see. I hope you've been well.
I would like to apologise if my absence and lack of uploads caused anyone any concern. I can't lie to you and say I haven't been avoiding making a public post about where I'm at because I don't like being a negative force on your community feed. šāāļø I know that this channel is a source of amusement or comfort to some.
Toward the end of last year, I suffered major creator burnout. I did my best to hide it because I had received some harsh comments that I wasn't uploading enough. I was dealing with a lot of stress offline due to family circumstances and my own mental health. I wasn't eating. I wasn't sleeping. I cried daily. Making videos stopped being fun for me and became something I never wanted them to be.
So after Christmas I took a step back. I decided to focus on streaming ASMR and games as a hobby to take my mind off things. And I loved it.
Making videos has always been an incredibly lonely process. You write scripts alone. You draw art alone. You record alone. You edit alone. I am a very slow worker, so the time alone feels very isolating.
When you upload a video there is a huge sense of relief and accomplishment... and then a week passes and you're expected to do it all over again. Other ASMRtists must be very strong, because this process has slowly worn down on me after doing it repeatedly for 2 years.
Streaming was incredibly differentā suddenly I could spend time directly with the audience. We could talk about what we liked about ASMR, our favourite anime, games, projects we want to work toward, etc. I was getting to know the community in a way I hadn't been able to before. I now use ASMR streams to test out new triggers that I'd like to incorporate into videos in the future!
I recently had to move house, and a lot of difficult things happened. Our new home was infested by spiders and mice. We had lost furniture and equipment that had to be replaced, including my work desk. My partner's new job was a much more dangerous environment, which caused a strain on our relationship. My mental health tanked.
But, with streaming, I was able to regain a small sense of control over my life that had otherwise fallen out of my hands. I was, and am, so grateful.
I have received some comments from viewers who are angry at the lack of uploads. One viewer in particular has taken to commenting on any clips of my streams they can seemingly find that I have "abandoned" this channel for the streaming "BS."
I won't lie and say that these comments don't hurt, because they do. This community has been nothing but kind and accepting to ASMRtists when they make new ventures, whether that be cosplaying, streaming/VTubing, vlogging, etc. I am grateful for everyone who has supported my new love of streaming, and I love being able to spend more time with everyone.
I am not abandoning this channel. I simply can't. Even if making videos is lonely, I still love making ASMR roleplays, and I don't want to stop. However, I do know that in order to avoid another burnout like last time, I need to acknowledge that I am slower than other creators. I cannot push myself to create a video every month. Maybe it will be once a month, maybe it will be once every other month. I want to work slowly and peacefully at a pace that won't burn me out and leave me unable to sleep/eat like last December.
Thank you so much for all of your support, encouragement, and kindness during this hiatus. I am currently working on some new videos, but, as I said, I am doing it slowly. And I hope that when I do release a new video, you might be able to enjoy it.
I look forward to continuing our adventure together, slowly.
Vivi.
