Wow, I really thought this was a photo of either snow or ash. I'm good at spotting cgi, but damn. 👏

Snow is a tricky one! I think it looks too fine grained, I think you need to put some subsurface on it too, because light passes through snow when it's thin enough. It's not like a solid material either it's like made of lots of droplets of snow. So I expect light to bouncing around within the material as opposed to just on the surface. And when you look at snow it kinda glistens and sparkles when you move around, so maybe adjust your roughness for that. That's my observation though! Other than that keep up the good work! 😀

Great looking but i think the price is a bit high for a single material to be honest

Is this only compatible with octane or would it also work for redshift with c4d?

This is the shader I made for one of my projects, it doesn't need any textures, just internal C4D resources and Octane. Since it's procedural it is absolutely seamless and will help you to create realistic looking snow covered surfaces.
Perfect for close-ups, medium, and master shots. I wouldn't recommend it for general shots (Big landscapes) as there is no point in such details in that kind of shots.
