I agree with your response to Jak to a point. It was an eye opener when I decided to try my hand at this. The time alone was double what I originally thought it would take, seriously forcing me to rethink my direction and content with the channel. I didn’t start a channel to make money, but to have a route to learn something new. And it is very time consuming, and requires a tone of dedication. But with that said, I think there are some genres out there that one one can solo a YouTube channel. Streamers are doing it regularly now, along with many machinima tubers (some of whom have been around for years now). The ever increasing ease of streaming live game play and easy game recording has brought about a whole new generation of successful solo you tubers. But, in the technology area, It’s excruciatingly difficult to do it alone.
