Moron Abound

The amount of people I see complaining about Ubisoft removing knockdown from Toestab vs an OOS opponent is insane.

The character will not be ruined. You literally still have everything the TG changes gave you positively, plus a faster forward dodge bash. On top of that, Skewer Throw still unbalances. This "Oh no, I can't get my 10000000 damage OOS punish anymore!" attitude is kind of stupid.

No, Gladiator did not get "cucked". Stop clickbaiting. OOS pressure is still there, it's just with Skewer now - a much healthier form of it. No one likes getting toestabbed while OOS and eating 10 million damage. Let shit like that die in a burning fire along with stamina pause on bash.

And the revenge gain on Skewer is now normal. No more 100-0 gank possibilities. All good, healthy changes.

Rant over.

I can understand some old time Glad mains being upset, thinking like: "It was one of Glad's trademark powers." But from a balance perspective, it had to go.

I agree. I initially thought it was a bad change, but then remembered this man can literally skewer now from any combo, allowing him to keep his pressure on, whether the opponent is out of stam or not. Literally if you are an actual good and competent glad player, you can do a myriad more mix-ups now instead of the obvious "go for toe stab to get guaranteed damage"

Another case of players getting mad about their broken character of choice finally getting some balance.

For Honor players when an unhealthy game mechanic is removed (it helped them win the game so it was okay)

I welcome the changes, the flow with glad in testing grounds was great but could see the problem with the toestab oos, I'm happy to see it gone 😀 ps. I gots 70 with my glad

As a glad main myself, I found really funny how half the reddit post were “glad is dead”. Like bruh, he is just becoming a fucking war tank, but golly gee I can’t delete you with a OOS punish anymore. I wish they could rework lb the same, no more bullshit punish with over the top damage but an actual offense.

Mars remains Mars. Good change for Gladiator taking his unhealthy aspects away. Now Zhanhu dodge attack 2 damage buff when? i frames when? Shinobi deletion when?

@HyperactiveTony

Thank you for pointing this out, its like everyone straight up IGNORED the fact that he's getting a rework not just a toestab nerf. I for one am very happy that glad will stop being a ridiculously good ganker with a stupid good OOS punish while also being made into a more versatile character that is more fun to play against and as.

@camelusdromedarius3789

I mean besides the blatantly needed revenge gain nerf, his higher level play will only be better. Thank goodness his ridiculous punishes are gone. It's like when some people complained when Cent lost his cutscene. No doubt they're both far better characters now than prior to their reworks.

Glad players malding now that they don’t instantly win fights anymore with absurd punishes (this will still be the case, Gladiator is extremely aids)

@puffyshark9980

It’s sad how Glad getting this “nerf” caused more controversy and malding than Orochi’s nerf that was actually to pander the brainlets that don’t like to eat <12 damage lights
