Ultimate Handyman

I’m editing a video that is currently 1.5 hours in length (not sure how long it will be once fully edited).

I think you need to do the one that makes you most money from the ads! Thanks for all the great content over the years, I still watch ones from 10 years ago!

I would say it depends on the subject/ content. If it’s about changing a plug then it’s definitely to long. However if it’s about building a garden office it’s probably about right.

My opinion is several shorter videos over a few days would be the way to go, rather than one long one. This way it would be more interesting watching the process unfold, just my opinion for what it’s worth. Regards from Down Under.

If you do make a long video it’s good to add chapters in the video. This is easy to do and sure you’ll know by adding in times in description (see youtube for help). That will break the video down into sections. Love all the video help, i’m watching some from 10 years ago which are still valid today. They have been priceless to me.

Depends on what the video covers and how often it's going to be published. Assuming it's one a week, say it's to fix a plumbing issue then waiting 3 weeks isn't going to be ideal. If it's a bigger project (like the monkey bars) where the work can be spaced out on the weekends then shorten it and spread it out.

Long videos can be great if done right. Think Andrew Camarata, for example.
