An elderly woman from the country was visiting the big city for the first time. She checked in at the hotel and let the porter take her bags. She followed him in. But as the door closed, her face fell.
“Young man," she said to him. “I may be old, but I’m not retarded. I paid a lot of money for this room, but it’s nothing like I expected. It’s too small and there’s no air conditioning. There’s not even a bed here!"
Porter replied: “This isn’t your room. This is the lift."
