Dude that Burl top is awesome. I built a spalted maple top tele and did my own variation of a butterscotch blonde. It didn't look quite how I wanted but still looks good.

That natural look is awesome...question..if I treat a body with danish oil for that natural look, should I finish it with clear coat to protect or just sand the oil and leave it at that?

Bro I need ur advice... I wanna refinish my strat 3 tone burst. But I want keep the black sides and only refinish the top on a gold finish. On the other hand I would like to do a complete refinish as a gold foil. Ive never painted a guitar. Pls help
