Hey everyone, just wanted to say I'm not quitting ZEY yet... This year has been hell for me... I was very scared about Trump, fuck it I'm going political... He was going to remove social security for a lot of Americans, and that scared me shitless because a lot of people in the modding community I care about are on social security.. I'm Canadian, I suffer from schizophrenia, and a lot of Americans in our community suffer from issues too.
It would break my heart if anything happened to our community... It's difficult finding work in a society that doesn't care about people like us. Modding Zelda OOT is a way for me to prove my skills without needing the validation from elitist companies... I've had difficulty finding work even with a Computer Science Masters degree.
This system is ass to us... ZEY and the modding community has been an escape for me to express my ideas, and share it with you guys too.
I love doing this, it's been such a rewarding journey for me mentally...
I'm also transgender... Non-binary/Agender, I'm not looking to fight over it, I have struggled with dysphoria since 16... I'm looking for special help for it recently, and I'm trying to stay afloat.
Might take some time... This past decade has been hell for me... But I'm keeping optimistic.
