Well, i cried watching your video, then i cried watching rafael bittencourt played carry on with a crowd of people, then cried again watching him playing in matos' memorial service and i am all the way in Indonesia. So, i am sure metalheads from Brazil is even more sad with his passing. RIP Andre Matos.

For us, Brazilians, one problem is, the lack of talented idols like Matos, which makes everything even more painful. He represented a lot for many people, more than being only a talented singer. Angra and Shaman were the soundtrack of our life, so many moments while growing up, following Angra, André and the others, their career, going to the show, etc... We were really proud for something so fragile, as sharing the same nationality. It's been a really hard time to accept, to comprehend, to believe what happened. Thanks for your videos and kind words, it really helps us to feel closer of each other, in this time of pain.

Hello everyone and thank you so much for all the positive comments on my recent Tribute video to the great André Matos! I'm happy so many people enjoyed my attempt of Wuthering Heights. Matos will be missed forever! André was a genius as he flawlessly sang falsetto and full voice made it seem like 1 smooth connected voice. I had some issues with it but managed to kinda pull it off with my own style as well. Many of you requested I cover Stand Away among others. These are very tough songs that will take time to perfect but I'll do my best to keep Matos spirit alive. Brasil seems to be in deeper sorrow than I thought so I'll keep it up and looking forward to the next one. A legend like André will never be forgotten. We'll keep rocking and listening to his songs for all eternity. Thanks again everyone and to Mr Matos: We will carry on! Rock on everybody! ❤️
