Next vid coming at some point this week - Aliens; the best sequel of all time? (title in working lol) It's an upgrade from an older video that got blocked by Fox. Aliens why so good, but I thought I'd freshen it up and go into more depth.

My favorite movies! The second of course being my all time favorite. When Alien fist hit the theater, there was nothing else ever that had been on the screen with such a powerful female lead. I left the theater with different expectations of my abilities. I felt the second movie, Aliens, was symbolic of Ripley rescuing her inner child. She starts out a frightened victim and turns into this badass warrior. Then the third movie through everything she accomplished right into the trash. It took me a long time to embrace that movie. I think the extended editor's version is better. I was hesitant to watch the fourth after the third. But they totally redeemed the franchise!!!! Wow. There is more humanity in bioengineered Ripley and the robot than anyone else on screen. All the plots in these movies is still pertinent today. I have the collectors box set on DVD. I can't watch one without watching them all, so I rarely do. But lately, I've been thinking about brushing the dust off and following Ripley through her death and resurrection. I hope you at least mention Permethius. I loved the bad ass female lead. I also hate that they so flippantly negated that strength by killing her off before the sequel even begins.

Really difficult. Theres always Terminator 2, goodfather part 2, blade runner 2049, and of course, the Best of them all, escape from LA!! Jokes aside... Love that movie tho
