Jacquelin de Leon

Hello everyone! I’ve missed you all so much!
I’ve been so busy working on the graphic novel for DC that I haven’t had much time to edit videos😔 I have been recording though, and I have a backlog of so many videos to edit and post for you all! I’m currently working on three to post in the next few weeks so keep an eye out!

I want to ask you all two questions!

1. If I had vlogs that are older already (like 4months or so) would you still be interested in watching them? Or is it better to keep it current?

2. Would any of you be interested if I uploaded a regular process video of my work, and then also uploaded a real time full process video that is like 3 hours long with no talking or anything? I have so many full length videos and it feels like such a waste to edit and post a 3 minute long version, and I’m just wondering if any of you would even watch a full length one or even play it in the background?

3. And while we are at it, let’s do a Q&A! If you have any questions at all for me, about art supplies, life, skating, whatever, just comment here and I’ll use it in one of my videos soon!

Thank you all so much for sticking around!💜
-Jackie

@hooplahullabaloo

I would love a full length! 🥺 It's so satisfying seeing the process of everything come together in real time

@MangaSamte

1. Yes 2. Yes, it'd be like a draw with me (background noise) as I work on my illustrations as well. 3. Will you be continuing the Online Store tutorial series?

@LightAngelStar

1. Yes, I would love to watch old vlogs. You're vlogs are so soothing and entertaining. 2. I'd love to see more real time drawing. I like the whole process. 3. What's your favorite mythical beast? 💙💙

@iLikeHugs64

1. Definitely! Usually I end up rewatching vlogs anyways so it doesn't make much difference for me 2. I would also love to see the full length ones, I usually play videos like this in the background when doing work 3. Not really a question, just hope you've been doing good and I love your content!

1-Vlogs are super helpful I think in terms of behind the scene processes of your daily art schedule or life in general. Even if it’s not always that, it’s nice to see what you get up to as an artist. It’s also a good chance to break stigma on social media (ex: artists need to produce social media ready- art every single day) things like that. 2- uploading videos on your work process is always super handy. You have a very unique art style and I think it’s a shame we don’t see the work in progress enough. Even if they’re hour long plus videos, I know some of us work at home or in studio and appreciate background art videos as good noise, lol. It keeps one motivated. 3-definitely share your experiences with art supplies I think the more opinions that are there the better. Because someone will always have something different to say. And as an international person it’s cool seeing the art supplies you get buy or experience that someone foreign couldn’t unless they bought it online and learnt about it. Like the awesome handmade watercolour paints you found at SAN FRAN, that we’re metallic 😍🎨 Hope this helps!! Congrats on the novel!! And thanks for the updates

1 and 2. YES Questions: 1. How do you keep track of your ordering and orders 2. Do you pay taxes for being a small artist? 3. Could you do a video on brushes you use for procreate (more in-depth video) 4. What made you want to start selling your artworks?

1. Yes, I would love to watch older vlogs - I’d watch any you put out tbh. You have a nice voice and you’re interesting. 2. Longer videos are a okay with me, as long as they have some music to them. They’re nice to put on when I’m doing homework, and I need something a little calming to watch while doing it. 3. Q&A: How do you schedule your life to do art? Or, I guess, before you did YouTube and you had other responsibilities that came before art, how did you make time to draw and paint, etc? I’m finding it extremely difficult between housework, a baby and school to sit down and draw, and it makes me extremely sad.

OMG I'm sure its coming along great! No worries about the editting I'm sure everyone gets it ^_^ Btw your setting up an art shop playlist is amazing! Its so useful not many artists give all the step by step details 😁

@Cherrychiquitita

I would love to see blogs from any time! They don’t have to be current :) Plus it’s fun to see how you progress and how your methods change over time

1. Id be interested in the old and new videos. 2. Would love to see full length! Your videos are always great and really relaxing 😀 3. Question- would you be doing an art studio tour again

@nanarts

For the Q&A: It would be nice if you tell us your story as a professional artist and how you got there from amateur to full-time artist. It's inspiring to see artists who actually can make a living with art.

1. Yes. Vlogs are always great. 2. Yes. Post any videos. I love just having your videos on while I do chores and do my own art. 3. Did you ever have a time where you almost gave up on art? Do you get depressed from doing your art all the time for work?
