Yes, it is true. Chris is leaving the channel on good terms.
I can’t put into words how much I value his time on the channel. Chris helped this channel grow into something I never thought I’d see and now it is time for him to focus on his own creative endeavors, with the full support of JHF.
Chris has released an official statement on his socials - please go give that a read. It is beautifully written and perfectly sums up our relationship over the last five years. We are remaining friends but choosing to go down different creative paths and there are no hard feelings on either side.
I’m sure you’re wondering what this all means for the channel.
While I considered putting the channel on pause to pursue other opportunities, I’ve decided to continue JHF for the foreseeable future. I’ve grown comfortable appearing on camera over the years but I can’t see myself taking over the role of lead actor, especially not the way Chris embraced that responsibility. Besides, I like my role behind the scenes.
This means someone is going to have to take over acting duties once again and I’m thrilled to announce that none other than Karpizzle will be returning to his role on the channel. Karpizzle and I started this channel back in 2013 and it only makes sense to continue our journey together through these complicated times.
That’s right, (UN)RIP KARPIZZLE.
Thank you all for your support over the years. Still can’t believe a black metal parody in Walmart lead to working with bands such as Slayer, Ghost, Exodus and so many more. Thanks to Chris and everyone who appeared on this channel along the way, especially Primz and Patrick. I’m grateful for the relationships that we’ve built on this very long and entertaining journey.
I wish Chris the best of luck with his new ventures and I’m excited to get back to work with my longtime collaborator, Karpizzle.
