Its been a quiet late summer for me story wise - just had not found the time to get down to it. But shorter days are approaching and Bertie will soon be out and about again with more tales of scrapes and delight. I think all the compiled book form short stories have now been read but there are still plenty more available that were only seen as magazine stories - now around a century ago! In the meantime, for younger listeners I have finally got round to reading, The owl who was afraid of the dark. Its a slow, gentle, old fashioned type of story. Quite long and may be needed in two or three dollops.
