I think the potential is definitely there! Your video highlighting his off-the-dribble shot skills summed up the trajectory of his career pretty well. It’s a definite yes from me if adjustments are made to the other facets of his game. By the way Kyle, if it’s appropriate to call you that haha, you have an amazing channel man. The content is so insightful and well constructed, you don’t just rant in a monotonous tone and you inject your opinion with quality facts. I never 100% agree with your takes but I am always eager to hear what you have to say. Best of luck moving forward my man, you are heaven sent and I am feverishly awaiting your next video. Excelsior!!!

Offensively he will get his points, but I don’t see the elite passing ability like Trey, Steph, etc. I like him playing off a offense creator like Lebron or even Devin Booker. If he ends up on a team with a star and wins, then yes he can be the second allstar on a team. If he ends up shouldering a team that may hurt him long term, so no.

Not an all-star caliber season. Could see him getting a D'Angelo-esque selection when he's not deserving because he scored a lot of points in flashy and exciting ways

He has to develop into a much more dynamic and versatile player. Right now it’s looking like his ceiling is Explosive 6th Man

Depends on his environment. He can maybe make it as a Klay/Middleton type offensive player but with less defense and a more ball heavy game.

Who knows he could either end up like a jeff teague type player who is good enough to be a starter on a bad team or he can be kyrie type of player who's an all star that can shoot light out but not really a playmaker it's hard to tell

Lonzo is a great fit for us. He is proven in the NBA for what he is and knows his role. He is a great defender and a great passer. He fits the timeline. Do y’all really think Garland, a bench player when first drafted, is going to be better? I think you all forget how much we need a point guard let alone Lonzo’s fit with the team. He won’t take away shots from book or Ayton and he’ll hide Book on defense. I would definitely give up the 6th pick for him.

Maybe, as an off ball guard he intrigues me, his elite shooting chops could turn him into an All Star one day, but my gut says no

I think he can get to the level of player that is good enough to be an injury replacement all-star. Not saying he'll be and all-star, but half a tier below

I think best scenario is he ends up a Jamal Crawford type. Energy and points off the bench, or a starter for a mediocre team. Maybe an all-star once or twice, maybe 6th man award. Which is still a pretty decent career. He reminds me mostly of a dj augustin, Nate Robinson type. Just bigger.

CJ McCollum vibes, borderline all-star, might make it in the East if the East still has less star power.

He has all the tools to become one, and has the swagger to his game that voters fall in love with. If his game matures as it should, and he trusts more in hard work and dedication, rather than just trusting his talent, he{ll go a long way. If he turns out to be a bust, his future could look a lot like Ben Mclemore, but I could also see him on a fringe all-star level like Jamal Murray or D-Lo. Not comparing his game to theirs, just referencing their success as NBA players.

No chance he becomes a superstar like ja mordant could be but I can see him making an all star game or 2 in his career

I think he can be if he's put in the right system with the right cast that can hide his flaws on defense. That being said, I think that many pundits are too high on him. He's more of a just out of the lottery guy for me

In the same way that Kyle Lowry, Jeff Teague and Jrue Holiday were All-Stars yes. Fringe All-Star is my prediction.

Is Darius Garland ever an all-star?
