Classic fantasy Paladins were a great source of inspiration for this character, and it shows both in Athel's Skills and her personality. She is a no-nonsense warrior, completely unfazed even by Prince Errol's considerable charm. Nonetheless, there is room for compassion in her heart, and it is her selfless nature that makes Athel one of the Arbiter's chosen Champions.
