Tip: Adjust volume correctly for YouTube (example for Davinci Resolve) Part 4/4

Now go to the Fairlight section, more precisely to the Loudness display.
There you set it to 1770-4 (with 1770-1 it can still come to an overmodulation in rare cases, is an older procedure for the calculation).
Now you just have to make sure that you are at + or - 0.0db.

Short and Short Max is self explanatory
Range means the range between the loudest and the most powerful sounds. The larger this value, the more dynamic is contained in the sound.
Integrated is the average value and most relevant for Youtube, see Screenhot.
Start, Pause and Reset are for the Loudness measurements.

In the screenshot you can also see a master limiter.
With this you can limit e.g. too loud peaks (see arrow). All in all, you can make the sound more harmonic and finer.
However, this is only worthwhile if the individual audio tracks are already quite well mixed. The master limiter is the icing on the cake, so to speak.

Under the limiter you can see, for example, the stereo base display and adjust it via the audio tracks.
Of course, you can tell much more about it in detail.
It is all quite simple explained by me to get as quickly as possible to good results, but often that is quite enough.
The rest, like compressor on individual audio tracks, EQ, etc, you can easily work out yourself.

Have fun with it
