A classic named Darby O Gill and the Little People, it's a Disney St Patrick's Day movie that has Sean Connery in it lol.

The Revenant - was just so well done. No need for huge dialogs, actuate to time frame, and well executed.

Wolfwalkers !! It's the third animated movie in an "Irish Folklore Trilogy" The first movie is The Secret of Kells and the second is Song of the Sea - they're amazingly detailed, voice acting is superb, and they all have valuable, hard lessons. They're probably some of my favorite animated movies of all time.

V for Vendetta, very good movie and kind of ironic how long ago the movie was made and how close it is to the U.S. currently

Ace Venture when nature calls always makes me laugh. For a serious movie or series Chernobyl.

Depends on what "great" means. Con Air was the most recent one I'd classify as "really great," in one sense. If that's the wrong definition, then I'd have to say it was probably The Thing. Or Dredd. Can't remember which was most recent.

Also Into The Wild, if you’ve got 2 1/2 hours, it’s an amazing depiction of a true story with a score done my Eddie Vedder, the lead singer to Pearl jam
