Honestly, with new regulations coming in in 2022 maybe it's better for Bottas to leave Mercedes for Williams. At Mercedes he's just the other driver.

Mr. Toto do whatever you wants, this is your last season where you and your team enjoy the dominance. That’s a Ross brawn who know everything about silver arrows and whole team plus points. So he worked hard on that and introduced budget limitations which hamper you now. Next season all cars will be equal on terms , all protected area which you enjoyed last seven years , those will disappear. We will see how you enjoy with your tables and head phones.

The way I see it, the 2022 regulation changes need experienced drivers for all teams. As we have seen so far, Ricciardo is struggling to grab pace with McLaren even though he’s a top their driver. Even though Russel seems to be a good choice, Bottas knows his way around the Mercedes car and team. I feel like, if 2022 is going to be as close as they say it is, then Mercedes will need to keep their lineup. BUT, if the cars are gonna be changed so much, all drivers got to get used to a new car, making the change for Russel potentially not as bad as Ricciardos change....

Das hängt davon ab wie die wm sich entwickelt Komma wenn es knapp bleibt dann kommt die entscheidung erst später gibt es eine vorentscheidung in der wm wird auch russell bekannt gegeben ansonsten brauchen sie bottas
