This man and his passion got me thru the worst time of my life. I spent hours watching from my cancer center room TV. All the nurses and family loved watching him when they would come into my room. Thank you so much

I just can’t come around to accept that this earth no longer has Jack walking upon it, smiling, spreading his love in every single thing that he did in his life. What a truly inspirational man, what an incredibly loving family. My deepest most sincere heart felt well wishes go out to every single one of his family members. My god was Jack incredible. What’s good is to know that he is resting peacefully, probably having all of his favorite dishes (with moms recipe!). All the love in the world to Jack, his family and to the entire community of people that, like me, watched with warm hearts (and watery mouths) all because of Jack’s love and mastery in the kitchen. There is only one Daddy Jack. Thank you sir for absolutely everything that you did.

Your Rockefeller dressing is etched in my heart. Moved away from the coast and missed it over oyster so bad. Did a search and there you were whipping it up like professional artist you are. Years of learning and joy. Thanks Jack. 🙏

Daddy Jack's videos really helped me out when I was going through a hard time. I watched his videos and got into cooking when I was feeling blue. His personality and old school cooking can't be matched. My condolences go out to you. At least he left us with hundreds of wonderful videos.

Blue collar cooking at its best, and a man who truly loved what he did. I’ll take him over celebrity chefs any day of the week! I enjoyed watching his videos just as much as making the food. RIP Jack 🙏
