Margaret Olander

Sitting here in the quiet of the morning wondering how everyone is adjusting to social distancing. Luckily, our relationship doesn't change here in YouTube land! Our big move is next week and I'm prepared for the 13 hour drive with hand sanitizer, wipes and even some plastic gloves I found under my sink! I plan to shoot one more video in this house today. So what are YOU doing to keep a positive attitude while you're stuck at home with new challenges?

I’ve been learning to play autoharp, and with it learning to read music. So I’ve been upping my practice time a lot. I also decided to finally learn two-color knitting, which had been on my to-do list for a long time. Wishing you as easeful a time moving as possible!

I am so busy. Barely have time to crochet. I am a 74 year old grandma of 3 who live with me so I have been making sure they do their schoolwork. I usually use my iPhone or iPad I found you from utube looking for a pattern. I pray a lot and watch new patterns. Today Sunday I am making some pot scrubbies for a few friends. Good luck on your move I will pray for you and your family. God bless and be safe!!!

My hubby and I are in mandatory self isolation for 14 days after returning to Australia from the US on Tuesday. I was also tested for COVID-19 when we arrived due to having some mild symptoms, this has returned Negative. I will continue to watch YouTube, Crochet lots and also do paper-crafting. I wish you a safe and enjoyable trip to your new State and your new home.

Been sick with vertigo since the end of January (19th), and we moved three days after I became afflicted. We moved quite a bit those first few days and I have been slowly bringing a carload here and there to the new house, but I think I'll start today by going to the old house and just try to power through and get the rest packed and either put into the storage unit or on to the new home. The new home is a third the size of the old one, so lots of downsizing must be done. This week I've been organizing my craft room/den, it's almost done!! :) Lots left to be done at the old house. And the good thing is, I can check the stores when I make that trip to work on the old house since the town the new house is in, there are no shops. Almost out of toilet paper since I didn't make it into town to grocery shop until Tuesday this week, and all the stores were out of tp.

My job at FedEx is busier than ever! Trying to keep the stress at bay and focusing on how blessed I am in this situation. My Son in law is home from a three month stay in Iraq. Thank God he protected them during the bombing. I'm so happy to have him home safe and sound!!

I am fortunate to do most of my job from home since our office is closed. I have one child still at home and she is doing virtual homework daily then the two of us have crochet and old movie time together before my husband gets home. I enjoy you and your videos. Have a safe and worry free trip. 😊💙

I'm still working. My husband's job has gone to 4 hours a day, 4 days a week for the duration. I am planting my spring garden this weekend, and have to do a major house cleaning because my college senior that is in Hattiesburg, MS will probably be coming here until or unless they let her finish student teaching.

Aside from going to the gym 3 days a week, my life is just work and home, so not a lot has changed. I am still going to work, and coming home. I’m really going to miss exercise classes at the gym though. I have so much to be thankful for during this time, but I’m still heartbroken for so many people going through rough times during all this

Florida has closed state park campgrounds, so we are scrambling to get back to Arkansas and find a campground that is not closing. Think we have it worked out. But I'm spending my time crocheting hats for micro premies. Also sewing and crocheting items for Holy Sews, a group that supplies layettes for tiny still born babies.

Not feeling a big change, as I'm a homebody when not working. I'm required to work from home now but still don't have cabin fever. Loving all the yarn around me and feeling the creative juices flowing... hope everyone stays safe and positive! Have a wonderful time on your trip to your new home!
