In all honesty, I've known WYB first through YouTube recommendation 😅😅 and follow updates about him and became a silent fan. Then the untamed came, I watched it and find out that damn they are perfect together! I don't need man-woman pair in any drama/movie, I just want both of them. Saw their BTS and since then I can't get enough. And the crazy part is, believe it or not, XZ and WYB are my 1st idol I've known in entertainment outside my country. I love them so much ❤️😍😍❤️

Never been a fan before, and I'm 75, but these two!! I just fell desperately in love watching them and the affection between them become so strong. It's love at what level only they know but they certainly love one another, eyes and body language doesn't lie!

I watched the Untamed before knowing that the drama was based on a novel. I have not watched any of the BTS. When I watched the first few episodes my heart told me that the two main characters are really into each other. I have not felt so moved by their non-verbal actions. I love this drama so much that my standards has gone up for Chinese costume dramas. Thank you Xiao Zhan, WYB, the directors and the crew for an emotional roller coaster ride. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨

Actually their intimacy in the drama is far far better than any kiss/sex scene in any movie/drama I hv ever seen.. the way they express their love for each other without saying a word was like beyond soulmate thingy.. I genuinely believe they are meant be even tho I know will never be.. they will be too shy to admit that if they ever figure it out 😭

I actually knew nothing about the series before I watched The Untamed. I didn't know it was from a BL novel at all. Netflix (at the time) called them "soulmates" in the description. That got me interested, and I figured it was going to be bromance since it was Chinese. But actually, I found while watching it that it very clearly was NOT bromance. It was romantic love. There was already platonic and familial loves between other men in the series: Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng, Lan Xichen and Meng Yao, etc. What was going on between LWJ and WWX was clearly not platonic like those other relationships, and as the series progressed it became more and more obvious, and then the whole fact that they have a son at the end, and even though they "part" for a time they return to each other and it very much gives a feel that this time they stay together. It sealed the deal for me. ❤ I don't think they made it into bromance at all. The director, writer(s), actors, everyone worked very hard to show us the truth without saying it outright. It was clear to me that this was BL under censorship, not bromance, and I think many other people have realized it too, which is wonderful. The Untamed is 100% the BEST BL drama I have ever seen. The BTS are wonderful and definitely give more depth though. Plus I don't think they would have achieved what they wanted and had such a successful series if they had not chosen Xiao Zhan and Yibo as the main actors. Their chemistry is undeniable and so, so beautiful. I agree, I became a bjyx fan after seeing the BTS and other helpful "analysis"/yizhan moments videos I'd seen here on YT. I don't understand how people can look at them interacting and not see the love they share. They don't treat anyone else the same way. I feel so honored and humbled and thankful to have been born when I was, because I now get to witness their relationship. The Untamed is a blessed series. Not only does it tell one of the most tragically beautiful romance stories of the century, but it also brought together twin flames Yibo and Xiao Zhan. CQL is a really, really special drama to me. 😭🥰 *I forgot to mention, I don't "ship" them, because to me shipping is something for characters, or relationships you know aren't real, but you like anyway. I believe they are in love. Maybe they are dating/boyfriends already, maybe they aren't yet, but I know they are in love with each other. So I don't ship them. I just support and believe in them.

Tbh..I realized it's a bl before I even knew it was from a novel. Like the first episode of the drama and when he saw Sizhui and remembered Lan zhan. Yep..Leave all that..Who gives their friend a piggy back ride or sees each other in slow motion as they're walking towards each other. Plus that scene where Wei Ying fell on Lan zhan and once again, BOOM , Slow motion lmao..It was very obvious imo. So I actually knew it from the first episode bc eyes dont lie and there were too many hints that many people missed that I noticed when I watched it the first time. BUT I watched the bts and knew they weren't acting lmao. I told myself a thousand times not to ship the actors too but Its just unbelievable that they're "friends" outside the drama. I felt the love both in the drama and between our Yizhan P.S I think besides the hints and slow motion we feel the love between WangXian bc its precisely Yibo and Xiao Zhan that played the roles. I read the novel, and I wasn't into Chinese dramas... I actually I didn't even like it. Then I watch the bts of "the Untamed" just because someone told me to do it. I don't regret it!! why do i like them so much?
Actually if we watch "The Untemed" without knowing it comes from the BL novel then of course we will think that The Untamed originated is a drama about friendship between fellow men.
But because we already knew that from the start, of course we have a different perspective on the drama.
For me after watching the drama the thought that appeared in my brain was "ahhh they really made it into a bromance, in fact there was no BL element" and I haven't become their ship after watching the drama.
But after watching BTS The untamed I really fell in love with them right away. how they interact, how their chemistry, and they don't look stiff, even they themselves know that The Untamed comes from BL novels and they act very well.
So to be honest I fell in love and became a yizhan ship because the BTS was not because of the drama. sometimes the BTS is even more interesting lol.
