Genuine question: If I were to branch out to other types of videos (something more original), what would you want to see?

I'd like to work on this channel more regularly, but I need some sort of monetisation (such as sponsorships) and it's becoming more and more difficult to try to monetise YTPs. All suggestions welcome!

@HomegrownMemes

You could branch out from traditional entertainment as source material? Instead of TV/movies you could edit news clips, podcasts or other viral content that's on trend? It may be more monetizable 🤷‍♂️ Otherwise I think video editing tutorials are a good bet, I liked your 60fps YTP tutorial

I think your skills in video editing are very impressive and you could easily do some banger tutorials if you wanted to!

Comedy sketches? Or perhaps music. Gaming is also an option ofc. Memberships and Patreon might help with the financing. As long as you enjoy doing it, it shouldn't really matter what you choose.

@zekilk

YMS has seen a lot of success with editing streams.

I like the idea of mini documentaries/ mockumentaries, editing tutorials, gaming, your thoughts on YTP/the history of your YTP and how you got into doing them

Maybe you can make montages of places or people or anything? Or maybe semi-documentaries?

I honestly don't mind sponserships, because almost every youtuber does it, but maybe experiment on things you enjoy doing and getting sponsers for it and you can expand on the more sucessful videos.

@squillen

I think the YTP space on YouTube is fascinating, it has roots literal decades ago and it’d be cool for you to cover how it evolved, maybe interviewing some folks who played a role.

@afriendofepicproportions

You were featured in a video a while back called something along the lines of 'YTP making creates great editors.' If you could produce some tutorial stuff where you show how you make your videos, or just speak about your thoughts on content creation and its ramifications, that would be awesome!

I think a series like emp’s YouTube geographic would be neat, but do it to feature unique creators with wild histories or personalities, like Cody from codyslab

You are an editing genius, I think you could make almost anything. Personally I like to watch film reviews/analysis but that's just me
