What is your favourite sculpting medium?

@sephestra.

I demonstrated the awesomeness of my homemade fresh-to-frozen-to-reheated mashed potatoes to my husband this afternoon by building a mini Devil's Tower on my plate. He cheered for me and made the sounds. There are reasons we are married.

@SaikouSheep

I sculpt my clay around the mashed potato so all my works have a starchy surprise inside

@Fuzzy_Spork

I've been using mashed potato the longest. And you can't subconsciously sculpt Devil's Tower with just clay at the dinner table. That's insane.

Mashed potatoes. Particularly when sculpting Devil's Tower ...

It was a close call between clay and mashed potato, but ultimately Whoopi Goldberg in Ghost won for me. Tho I did prefer her role in Theodore Rex.

In all honesty, i only really sculpt with sugarpaste/fondant.... so i 'HAD' to pick mashed potato as thats the only legitimate food-stuff available option! :D

Clay is utter garbage. A different clay handles so much better.
