I really like how they portray Jesus or their interpretation of Jesus. My biggest issue with the Chosen is the complete lack of true doctrine. It's not even washed over, but completely ignored. No baptism, no proper calling of apostles. Many of the miracles are consolidated together and outside of their proper context. I'm not sure what the purpose of the series is other than to show Jesus in a different light than previously seen and I think that's a good thing, I just don't think that the doctrines of Christ should be overlooked in the process.

So we have LOVED the Chosen! In my latest poll, a video series on the parables was the strong winner for what our subscribers want to see next. After watching the Chosen (for like the third time), we thought of the idea of doing a series of videos on each of the Chosen episodes to help people understand each show. In the videos we would break down the historical setting, give "easter eggs", and share insights. So, new poll. With that as an option, what would you like to see most next? Of course, we still will do parables, just later in the year.
