I think YouTube is a useful tool for amateur musicians and instructors. But for professional artists, I think it depends on whether or not services such as "YouTube Red" will spread. Many viewers think that "YouTube is free content". Will paid contents popular ...? In any case, a truly skilled artist will be able to win a certain fan on any platform.

I've stopped doing music videos. I'm not much of a song writer so all I can do are covers. I think when the average person searches YouTube for a song they want to hear the original, so I've switched to doing dialogued cartoons with music in them.
