@VersusMadrid

Why is the one of the only nuanced and thoughtful reporting on deeply complicated issues being done by a comedy show? Props to you guys and all the team.

I'm from Dallas. The building he met Guerilla Mainframe in front of is a mosque. By practice the practioners there don't carry weapons or use them in any fashion, it's part of their Deen. There was a group of anti-Islamic radicals going around TX to different mosque and showing up with long guns openly to create an unwelcoming vibe. The group was very open about their intentions and were there for intimidation. That particular mosque was posted as the next demonstration and Guerilla Mainframe and the Huey P Newton Gun Club caught wind and showed up armed to ensure the mosque goers would not be harmed. Now within the Black Community these two forces are typically on opposite ends of the spectrum but on this day came together out of a sense of community to ensure intimidation tactics weren't further used against Black people. Dallas PD showed up to protect the largely white anti-Islamic gun toting individuals. This situation illustrates everything

Jordan, all you can do is report with honesty and truth and be willing to look at your on biases. At least you tried to show both sides. Even if you feel there is extremism I don't think the answer is to cover up. The two of you did a great job with this. Keep up the good work... The one on Indigenous Americans was good too but needs to be explored more. That just seemed the tip of the iceburg.

I’m not saying I agree with laughing at the death of white cops, but Rakim or whatever his name was from Guerrilla Mainframe actually explained himself pretty well in my opinion. Nobody in America should’ve been happy about the death of countless thousands of Japanese people at the end of WW2, but you can understand why they were happy that the bombs would likely end the horrible war they had been fighting for years. I don’t think he was saying that he wants (potentially) innocent white cops to die, just that he feels like at this point that’s the only thing that can wake up America, so the community he lives in can finally feel safe. I’m white, so I don’t know exactly what it’s like to go through these things, but I understand being in similar situations, and I’m not sure I could pass judgment on him for what he’s said.

@Zilgian Vega It’s not about whether the guys are as comfortable but the groups. I think neither would have been as open if the two switched places. Neither of the two were comfortable either way in the situation.

@Dommy CS . It shows them that they are not untouchable. That there will be repercussions to actions.change the way they interact with the average citizen. End the corruption and egos. There are more Malcolm's than Martins.. remember Micha Johnson and Gavin Long..

No. White people need to understand that unequal perception and treatment of non-Whites is real and congeals into racial animosities. Some Black people need to understand that "fire with fire", while rhetorically useful isn't always quite as effective as understanding the law and building up the cultural, educational and professional infrastructure of our communities. If the law allows Americans to arm up and form militias, I support those brothers' rights and their stated concerns are legit but we've got to be careful about how our group members enact these philosophies out in the world. Discretion of the highest order, is what's called for.

Put it in perspective Jordan. You already signal boosted a problematic group that was actively training child soldiers to intimidate & potentially execute innocent brown people based on paranoia. If this didn't give you the same horrified response that caused you to censor the black group, then you definitely need to re-examine your own biases. Also, you sent a light skinned black person as an envoy rather than going to these groups yourself, which speaks volumes about who you are comfortable interacting with.

@maxwellsdemon6599

I think black group open carrying is definitely doing more harm than good. For the rekord, the white group did aswell, but I feel the guerilla group is actively harming their own cause. A part of the problem is the confrontational situation between both groups and how cops and people of color feel threatened alike and in the process cops shoot a lot sooner than they should. Noone is laughing at the death of innocent black men. They don't persecute them the way they should, but they are not actively mocking them. The more guns get involved, the more violence is threatened, the more people will die. If you use the rhetoric of war, you don't get the fucking problem. The police are not a hostile foreign power, neither are black men. Its a fucked up situation, made worse by protesting with guns and endorsing violence. I seriously hope they stop making things worse
